Voices for Thompsonville Paddle The Pond

Voices for Thompsonville met with Enfield Town officials on Tuesday June 16th, 2009 to discuss the potential for using the Freshwater Pond for recreational paddleboating activities.  The idea was initially launched by Sean Gondarowski, owner of the Thompsonville Creamery, at the May 18th, 2009 Enfield Town Council meeting as a way to breathe life back into the Village. As the Town coordinates with VFT on logistics and liability issues, VFT will be launching the first paddleboat into the pond on Saturday June 20th, 2009 at 10:00am.  All are welcome to attend this monumental event as Thompsonville makes it’s way toward revitalization.
